" If there's anything I really want, it's privacy. It's the island idea. You do get to where your money can help your family, and that's a great thing.() But mostly you now have to pay for simplicity. You use your money to buy privacy because during most of your life you aren't allowed to be normal. You're on display, always looked at ( ).

As part of his quest for privacy and following the step of his late friend Marlon Brando (who bought an island in Tahiti in 1970), Hollywood Actor Johnny Depp bought a private island in the Caribbean in 2004 for $3.6million.
In several interviews, Depp has expressed: having to live like a fugitive, staying at home a lot, being uncomfortable with fame, feeling kind of dumb in photo shoots, and disliking being bombarded by paparazzi.
